Living in harmony with ourselves and others
Dear Beautiful Soul,
So many people long for peace in their relationships, their homes, their hearts, and their daily lives.
Yet true harmony in the eyes of God begins long before it appears around us.
It begins within us.
To live in harmony with ourselves means learning to stop fighting who we are.
It means accepting that we are human beings constantly learning, growing, healing, and evolving through life’s experiences.
So often, we create inner conflict by judging ourselves harshly, ignoring our emotional needs, betraying our intuition, or trying to become someone we were never meant to be in order to gain love or acceptance.
But God did not create us to live disconnected from ourselves.
He created us to live aligned with truth, love, compassion, and authenticity.
Harmony within ourselves occurs when our thoughts, words, actions, and values work together rather than against one another.
It is choosing honesty over pretending.
Peace over constant chaos.
Compassion over self-condemnation.
Presence over emotional disconnection.
And from that inner harmony, our relationships with others begin to change as well.
Because when we are at war within ourselves, we often unknowingly bring that conflict into the world around us.
But when we begin healing within, we become more patient.
More understanding.
More compassionate.
More capable of listening without judgment and loving without control.
Living in harmony with others does not mean agreeing with everyone or avoiding difficult conversations.
It means treating others with dignity, kindness, respect, and awareness of their humanity, even when differences exist.
It means learning to communicate with love rather than anger.
To create peace rather than unnecessary division.
To protect our boundaries without hardening our hearts.
God’s vision of harmony is not perfection.
It is balance.
It is people remembering that we are all connected through the same divine source of life and love.
And perhaps one of the greatest spiritual lessons is understanding this:
The more harmony we create within ourselves, the more peace we naturally bring into the lives of others.
Today, I invite you to pause and reflect gently on these questions:
Where in my life am I resisting peace within myself?
And where can I bring more compassion, understanding, or balance into my relationships?
Small shifts create profound transformations over time.
May your heart feel lighter.
May your spirit feel calmer.
And may you continue walking toward a life rooted in truth, peace, love, and harmony.
With love & light,
Rev. Carmen Gélinas
