No matter what, spring will always come
Dear Beautiful Soul,
Nature has always been one of God’s greatest teachers.
Every year, without fail, winter arrives.
The trees become bare.
The ground hardens.
The days feel darker and colder.
And for a time, it can appear as though life itself has disappeared.
Yet beneath the surface, something remarkable is happening.
Life is quietly preparing to return.
And then, almost magically, spring arrives.
New buds emerge.
Flowers bloom.
Birds return.
The earth awakens.
What once seemed lifeless reveals that it was simply resting, healing, and preparing for a new season.
Our lives often follow the same rhythm.
There are seasons when we experience loss.
Heartbreak.
Disappointment.
Loneliness.
Confusion.
Moments when we wonder if things will ever feel joyful again.
During those seasons, it can be difficult to see beyond the pain.
We may begin to believe that our circumstances will never change.
But God reminds us through nature that no season lasts forever.
Just as winter gives way to spring, difficult seasons eventually make way for renewal.
The healing we cannot yet see is still happening.
The lessons are taking root.
The strength is growing.
The wisdom is deepening.
Even when everything feels still on the surface, God is often working quietly behind the scenes.
Preparing us.
Guiding us.
Transforming us.
And one day, often when we least expect it, we begin to notice signs of spring in our own lives.
A new opportunity.
A renewed sense of hope.
A relationship that heals.
A dream that begins to unfold.
A peace we thought we had lost.
The very things we feared would never return begin to bloom again.
If you are currently walking through a difficult season, I want you to remember this:
Your winter is not your forever.
God has not forgotten you.
The seeds planted through your faith, your prayers, your perseverance, and your growth are still alive beneath the surface.
Trust the process.
Trust the timing.
Trust that even now, something beautiful may be preparing to emerge.
No matter how long the winter feels…
Spring will always come.
May you find hope in the waiting.
May you find strength in the uncertainty.
And may you trust that God’s love is guiding you through every season of your life.
With love & light,
Rev. Carmen Gélinas
