I AM enough and I AM lovable

Dear Beautiful Soul,

There are two simple sentences that have the power to transform a life.

I AM enough.

I AM lovable.

For some people, reading those words feels natural.

For others, they feel almost impossible to believe.

If you’ve ever questioned your worth…
If you’ve ever felt rejected, abandoned, overlooked, or not good enough…
If you’ve ever believed you had to earn love by proving yourself, pleasing others, or becoming someone different…

I want you to know something today:

Those beliefs are not your identity.

They are stories.

Stories that may have begun in childhood…
Through painful relationships…
Through criticism…
Through disappointment…
Or through experiences that made you question your value.

But a story is not the truth.

The truth is this:

You were never created to live believing you were “less than.”

You were never meant to measure your worth by someone else’s approval.

You were never designed to carry the burden of believing you had to become perfect before you deserved to be loved.

The moment you came into this world, your life already had value.

Nothing you achieve can increase that value.

Nothing you fail at can diminish it.

Because your worth is not something you earn.

It is something you were created with.

When you truly begin to believe, “I AM enough,” something beautiful begins to happen.

You stop comparing yourself to everyone else.

You stop apologizing for taking up space.

You stop settling for relationships that ask you to become smaller in order to be accepted.

And when you believe, “I AM lovable,” you no longer chase love out of fear.

Instead, you begin to receive love from a place of confidence, peace, and authenticity.

You understand that healthy love does not require you to abandon yourself.

It invites you to become more fully yourself.

Today, I invite you to do something simple.

Stand in front of a mirror.

Look into your own eyes.

And say these words slowly:

I AM enough.

I AM lovable.

At first, your mind may argue.

Old beliefs may whisper otherwise.

But keep speaking these words with compassion and conviction.

Because every time you choose truth over self-doubt, you weaken the invisible beliefs that have held you back for far too long.

And one day, these words will no longer feel like affirmations.

They will feel like who you are.

May you see yourself with greater compassion.

May you embrace your worth with confidence.

And may you never forget that the love you have been searching for begins with recognizing the incredible value that has always existed within you.

With love & light,

Rev. Carmen Gélinas
